I started designing small websites after completing my Associate Degree in Microcomputer
Programming from Ohio Business College in Lorain, Ohio in 2004. I started with a website for
Crazy W, a close friend of the family, for their farm business. The site has been redesigned
twice after learning new techniques and approaches to web design. I currently have a dozen web clients that I work with as well as many graphics projects that come in for both company and personal clients.
In January of 2005, I decided I needed to get an edge on design abilities for Photo editing, Graphic
design and to enhance on the design of Web pages. I started attending Virginia Marti College of Art
and Design in Lakewood, Ohio and obtained my Associate Degree of Applied Business in Graphic Design and a
certification in Multimedia Design, graduating Magna Cum Laude in June 2007. I have learned a great deal about popular design programs
including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Quark while attending there. I also had the opportunity to
attend Photography classes which has given me the "eye" into great photography.
In April of 2005, I was interviewed and hired by one of the top Cleveland Web
Development companies, Zorebo Interactive. I learned a great deal of different approaches and
techniques to use in the business as well as tactical Search Engine Optimization techniques. Upon leaving employment with Zorebo, I took the skills I learned there and now apply them to the freelance development I currently do for many clients.
